Armando Cardenas-Nolazco is the chief technology officer of The Knot Inc., one of the world's leading lifestage media and services companies.

As CTO of The Knot Inc., Cardenas-Nolazco oversees new applications and technology development initiatives and directs the technical integration of newly acquired businesses for The Knot Inc.'s growing stable of media and services properties. With his extensive technology management experience with commerce, large-scale systems, and advertising inventory solutions combined with his ability to drive short- and long-term technology strategies, Cardenas-Nolazco leads the Company’s IT division in the development and management of key projects related to technological growth for its web presences: TheKnot.com, TheNest.com, PromSpot.com, and GreatBoyfriends.com.

Cardenas-Nolazco's experience spans many industries and platforms, enabling him to provide strong leadership for a team of technology experts in web-based application development, networking, security, and systems engineering. During the last five years, Cardenas-Nolazco has held various positions as chief technology officer for start-up companies such as gourmet retailer Dean-Deluca.com and DevX.com. In addition, he has held senior IT management positions at world-class companies including Charles Schwab, SBC Communications, and Wells Fargo Bank.

Cardenas-Nolazco earned a B.S. in Computer Sciences with a minor in Mathematics from El Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico.
